Detour- Walmart in Uxbridge

When: Wednesday, July 3, 7:00 until further notice

Route: 605

Due to construction at the Walmart plaza in Uxbridge, route 605 will not serve stop #2416 at the Uxbridge Walmart and detour via Welwood Drive, Zehrs driveway and Toronto Street S.

The Walmart stop will not be served in Uxbridge.

• Stop #2416 – Eastbound @ 6 Welwood

The following temporary stop will be served during the constuction.

• Welwood Drive eastbound, east of Walmart entrance.

2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass returns to Durham Region

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is again offering the 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass via PRESTO. Customers who are 13 to 19 years of age can purchase the 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass for $103.68 —that’s two monthly passes for the cost of one monthly pass.

Once purchased, the August pass will automatically renew on the customer’s PRESTO card prior to the beginning of August.

Due to the ongoing extreme heat and heat warning issued by Environment Canada, we must ensure air conditioning systems on our On Demand fleet are working well to keep you comfortable and safe.
