Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is introducing a new routes and routing changes to meet growing demand.

When: Service enhancements come into effect on October 4, 2021.

Where: A new route is scheduled for Pickering (Route 103 Glenanna), with routing modifications in Pickering, Oshawa and Courtice:

  • Route 112 Valley Farm in Pickering changing to a two-way service
  • Route 411 South Courtice modified in the Park / Tresane and Avondale / Trulls areas

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is thrilled to announce that our On Demand service has reached over 100,000 trips across the Region of Durham.

Congratulations to Teagan Brunelle for completing the 100,000th On Demand trip and sharing this significant milestone with DRT. DRT gifted Teagan with a pre-loaded $500 PRESTO fare card that can be used across all DRT services within Durham Region.

Durham Region Transit’s Y10 monthly pass eligibility extended into October

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is pleased to announce that Y10 monthly passes for youth, ages 13 to 19, will remain available to first-time purchasers into October. These passes will provide unlimited travel with DRT during the 2021/2022 academic year.

When: Extended purchase available from October 2021 through June 2022.

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) welcomes secondary and post-secondary students back to transit for the 2021/2022 academic year with service updates.
