Durham Region Transit seeks public input to shape the future of transit in rural Durham

WHITBY, ON – Durham Region Transit (DRT) will be hosting eight drop-in events throughout Brock, Scugog and Uxbridge Townships, and the Municipality of Clarington, as part of its Rural Transit Review. Durham Region Transit launches pilot Transit Assistance Program

WHITBY, ON – Durham Region Transit (DRT) continues to prioritize the transit needs of Durham Region residents by introducing a new pilot fare program, the Transit Assistance Program (TAP) for low-income individuals. This PRESTO-based program will launch Nov. 1, 2019 and will improve transit access and affordability for customers currently receiving Social Assistance in Durham Region. Transit Executive Committee: ridership updates

WHITBY, ON – Yesterday afternoon, the Durham Region Transit Executive Committee received ridership updates for various Durham Region Transit (DRT) services offered across the Region.
