Ontario’s One Fare Program provides transit riders with free transfers when using PRESTO to connect to and from transit agencies within the GTA.

By eliminating the double fare, the program provides DRT customers transferring to and from the TTC on Routes 900 and 920 or On Demand Specialized Transit with a seamless and affordable transit experience.

DRT has an established fare integration program with Go Transit.

Valid payment products
  •  PRESTO card (e-purse, monthly pass)
  • PRESTO mobile wallet card
  • PRESTO open/contactless (tap payment by debit or credit card)

Riders who pay their fare using cash, tickets or E-tickets are not eligible for the One-Fare Program and are required to pay a fare when transferring between DRT and the TTC.

How the program works
  • Tap your PRESTO card, PRESTO in Google Wallet, debit or credit card on a PRESTO reader when boarding a DRT or TTC bus.
  • When transferring, tap using your original method of payment on a PRESTO reader.
  • Free transfers are valid for two hours. You will receive your free transfer and won’t be charged another fare if you are within two hours of your first tap.
