Back to SearchWhitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is again offering the 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass via PRESTO. Customers who are 13 to 19 years of age can purchase the 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass for $103.68 —that’s two monthly passes for the cost of one monthly pass.
Once purchased, the August pass will automatically renew on the customer’s PRESTO card prior to the beginning of August.
When: Summer Youth Passes are currently available for purchase. These 2-for-1 passes will provide unlimited travel from July 1 to August 31, 2024.
Where: Passes are available for purchase at the following locations by presenting proof of age, which includes your birth date:
- Oshawa Centre Guest Services: 419 King Street West, Oshawa
- Pickering Town Centre Guest Services: 1355 Kingston Road, Pickering
- DRT Customer Service Centre: 110 Westney Road South, Ajax
- Durham Region Headquarters, front counter: 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby
- Scugog Municipal Office: 181 Perry Street, Port Perry
Summer Youth Passes can be purchased online at prestocard.ca or the PRESTO app on iOS and Android.
Why: DRT is helping youth travel for less this summer. With the 2-for-1 Summer Youth Pass, customers 13 to 19 years of age have access to travel for the months of July and August.
Note: The Summer Youth Pass is not available through the PRESTO e-ticket app.
