      • Transit Worker Appreciation Day (March 18, 2026) recognizes the important role transit workers play in delivering public transit services and contributing to the economic development and community wellbeing and safety.
  • Conlin and Grandview Detour update on February 24

    When: Monday, February 23, 2026, until further notice

    Route: Pulse 915, 419, N1

    Due to road work at the intersection of Conlin Road and Grandview Street, PULSE 915 and Routes 419 and N1 will detour.
    PULSE 915: Service will detour both ways via Woodstream Ave, Grandview Street, Greenhill Avenue, Wilson Road, and Conlin Road.

    Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is committed to an inclusive and accessible transit network for everyone. We invite all residents to complete a survey to inform the Durham Region Transit Accessibility Plan to enhance accessibility of the public transit network in Durham.

  • Guest Services at Pickering City Centre permanently closed on January 1, 2026.

    This change follows the mall’s direction to discontinue Guest Services due to operational updates, and there are no plans to reopen Guest Services.

    Customers who require in-person support can visit the Durham Region Transit (DRT) Customer Service Desk at 110 Westney Road South in Ajax.

    • Savings for DRT customers: Ontario’s One Fare program eliminates double fares for PRESTO users transferring between the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), DRT, York Region Transit (YRT), Brampton Transit, MiWay, and GO Transit.
  • MiWay and Durham Region Transit recognized for supporting riders with non-visible disabilities

    The transit agencies partnered with The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program to make travelling more accessible for individuals with non-visible disabilities and chronic illnesses.
