Durham Region Transit celebrates 100,000 On Demand trips

Whitby, Ontario – Durham Region Transit (DRT) is thrilled to announce that our On Demand service has reached over 100,000 trips across the Region of Durham.

Congratulations to Teagan Brunelle for completing the 100,000th On Demand trip and sharing this significant milestone with DRT. DRT gifted Teagan with a pre-loaded $500 PRESTO fare card that can be used across all DRT services within Durham Region.

Launched in September 2020, DRT’s On Demand service is a safe and reliable shared public transit option available within urban and rural areas across the Region. Using the interactive mobile app, or by calling 1-866-247-0055, trips are available within 15 minutes of booking in the urban areas and 30 minutes in rural areas.
