Service updates

As part of the Driving Durham 2030 Service Strategy, DRT is extending service to new growth areas. Ensuring transit is there when and where you need it. 

Route 112

• Monday to Friday
  • Service will be extended to the Brock Road and Highway 407 Station, via Brock Road.
    • Connections can be made with GO Bus service at the Brock Road and Highway 407 Station.
      
      
  • South of Taunton Road, routing will be modified to operate two ways along Burkholder Drive and Peter Matthews Drive.
      
    
    
• Saturday and Sunday 
  • Weekend service will continue to operate along a one way loop in Seaton. 
    • Service will now operate counter clockwise via Alexander Knox Drive, Peter Matthews Drive, Taunton Road, Peter Matthews Drive, and Taunton Road.  
    • Trips will be marked 112B.

New stops 

• The following stop will be opened as part of the Route 112 routing change.
• Customer's travelling towards Pickering Parkway Terminal on weekdays, will now need to board at the new stops below.

24 hour service

• Just a reminder that when Route 112 is not operating, On Demand may be a travel option. 
• Enter your trip in the DRT On Demand App, or speak with a Booking Agent by dialing 311, to see if your trip is eligible for On Demand service.

Route 118

• Routing change
  • Service will be extended to the Brock Road and Highway 407 Station, via Whites Road, Sideline 24 and Highway 7.
    • Connections can be made with GO Bus service at the Brock Road and Highway 407 Station.
  • Service will no longer operate to and from Burkholder Drive.
     
• Saturday and Sunday 
  • Saturday and Sunday service will be introduced between about 07:00 and 19:00.
  • Service will operate every 30 minutes.
  • With this change, service will operate everyday, during the day.   

New stops 

• The following stop will be opened as part of the Route 118 extension.
• Additional stops will open along the extension, when development advances to the stage that bus stops can be opened safely.

Route 306

• Routing change
  • Service will be extended to Coronation and Taunton Road, via Coronation Road. 
    • Service will operate in both directions.
  • Service will no longer operate along Cochrane Road, between Dundas Street and Rossland Road. 
    • For customers along Cochrane Road, please enter your trip in the DRT On Demand App, or speak with a Booking Agent by dialing 311, to see if your trip is eligible for On Demand service. 
          

New stops 

• The following stop will be opened as part of the Route 306 extension.
• Additional stops will open along the extension, when development advances to the stage that bus stops can be opened safely. 
• Please note service will now operate in two directions, and you may need to board at a different stop, depending on your direction of travel.

24 hour service

• Just a reminder that when Route 306 is not operating, On Demand may be a travel option. 
• Enter your trip in the DRT On Demand App, or speak with a Booking Agent by dialing 311, to see if your trip is eligible for On Demand service.

• Monday to Friday
  • Some trip times have been adjusted by up to 3 minutes. 
    • Please check your trip time, to see if a change has been made.

• Monday to Friday
  • 423B southbound trips added from Harmony Road and Dyas to Townline and King at 19:41, 20:11 and 20:41.

  • The westbound 19:24 trip will depart two minutes later.
