Effective Monday May 5, 2025, service changes will be made across the Durham Region Transit bus network to:
Improve reliability
Provide faster journeys
Provide service at more times of the day
Provide additional capacity
Benefiting over 6,000 weekday customer trips, these changes are being delivered as part of the 2025 Durham Region Budget's investment in Durham Region Transit services.
A new route is coming to town
New scheduled service is coming to portions of Brock and Scugog Townships.
Overview of new route
Monday to Friday
New Route 618 will operate between Port Perry and Beaverton via Sunderland and Cannington, replacing On Demand service.
Service will operate about every 90 minutes from 06:00 and 19:00.
On Demand service will continue to operate when Route 618 is not running.

Get ready for faster trips, more seats, and more reliable service.
To address service reliability challenges, high customer demand on buses, and long journey times; changes are being made to service on the 920 corridor, to bring a faster, more reliable service, with more capacity.

Thank you to the over 700 customers who took part in the 920 Travel Survey.
Your input helped DRT better understand how customers use Route 920, and which service changes would benefit the most customers.
Monday to Friday
Service will be extended to North Campus Terminal via Conlin Road and will not serve Delpark Homes Centre. Service west of Delpark Homes Centre replaces a portion of Routes 920 and 921.
Weekend service will continue to begin and end at Delpark Homes Centre.
New Destination Signs
407:
Travelling north and south between Raleigh and North Campus Terminal.
407A:
Travelling south from North Campus Terminal or Delpark Homes Centre to Raleigh via Colonel Sam Drive.
407B:
Traveling north from Raleigh to Delpark Homes Centre.
407C:
Traveling north from Raleigh to Delpark Homes Centre via Nonquon.
407D:
Traveling north from Raleigh to North Campus Terminal via Nonquon.

Routing Change
Service will operate to and from North Campus Terminal and will no longer serve Harmony Terminal.
Route 407 will replace the portion of Routes 920 and 921 east of Simcoe Street. Please see Route 407 information above.
New express stops
Express stops will be added in both directions to Route 921 at:
Brock Road at Dellbrook Avenue.
Brock Road at Dersan Street - William Jackson Drive.
Taunton Road at Salem Road.
Taunton Road at Brock Street.
New 920B Service
A new 920B service will operate between North Campus Terminal and Pickering Parkway Terminal.
Schedule Changes
During AM / PM peak periods:
Route 920 trips between North Campus Terminal and Scarborough Centre will be replaced with new Route 921 trips, operating every 20 minutes.
New 920B trips will operate every 20 minutes.
During midday and evening periods, Route 920 will continue to operate between North Campus Terminal and Scarborough Centre every 20 to 30 minutes.

Building a more reliable service

Seasonal service changes
Warm weather is coming, and Durham Region Transit is your ride to activities across the region.
Monday to Friday
Due to reduced travel in the spring / summer, service will operate every 30 minutes, instead of every 20 minutes on the 901A Lakeview and 901C Oshawa Centre branches.
Combined service between downtown Oshawa and North Campus Terminal will operate every 15 minutes.
Service to the Oshawa Waterfront
Remember that 901A Lakeview service will take you to:
