On Monday January 2, 2023, Durham Region Transit (DRT) will be implementing service adjustments to improve service reliability and improve capacity in new growth areas.

    • AM and PM peak routing will be extended to the Finch and Altona area. 
    • On Demand is available when scheduled service is not available.
    • To improve connections with the GO Train, trips departing Pickering Parkway Terminal between 17:05 and 19:05 will depart 10 minutes earlier.

    • Towards Harmony Terminal will travel via Centre Street, Fairbanks Street, and Simcoe Street. 
    • Towards Oshawa Centre Terminal will operate via Olive Avenue and Simcoe Street.

    • The 411 7:25 departure from Oshawa Centre Terminal will now depart as a 411C at 7:18, serving Avondale Drive.
    • The 411S 7:38 departure from Farewell Northbound @Raleigh is replaced by the 411C 7:18 departure from the Oshawa Centre Terminal.
    • The 411 13:55 departure from Oshawa Centre Terminal will now depart as a 411C at 13:51, serving Avondale Drive.
    • The 411C 14:08 departure from Farewell Northbound @ Raleigh is replaced by the 411C 13:51 departure from the Oshawa Centre Terminal
    • Weekday service towards Farewell/Raleigh will end one hour later.    
423 
  • Weekdays
    • Trip will operate every 30 minutes continuously from early morning to evening.

  • Routing Change
    • In the Clarington Centre area, the routing will now operate via Green Road and Stevens Road. 
      Service will no longer be available on Boswell Drive and Brookhill Boulevard.

    • NEW evening departures to 23:00.

    • 10-minute frequency will be available between Glenanna Road and downtown Oshawa.

    • Updates to the weekday schedule:
      • Departures from the Oshawa Centre Terminal every 30 minutes.
      • Departures from Lakeview every 30 minutes.
      • Departures from Windfields Farm every 30 minutes.
      • Additional trips will operate between downtown Oshawa and North Campus reflecting the higher demand along this part of the route.

  • Weekdays, Saturday and Sunday
    • On most trips towards Oshawa, the departure location will change from King and Simpson to Clarington Boulevard and Prince William Boulevard. 
    • Please see route 502 schedule for westbound service within Bowmanville.

    • Additional trips will operate during the midday between Whitby Station and Harmony Terminal. 
    • Trips will now operate every 15 minutes between Whitby Station and Simcoe Street and Brittania Avenue.
PULSE 915  
  • Weekdays
    • Updated travel times have been implemented to reflect increased road congestion.
    • As a result, trips will operate every 20 minutes between 6:00 and 20:00 and every 30 minutes after 20:00. 
    • Trips towards Harmony Terminal will begin one hour and a half earlier. 
    • Trips towards Ajax Station will end one hour later.
  • Saturday and Sunday  
    • Trips will operate every 20 minutes between 11:00 and 18:00, and every 30 minutes after 18:00. 
    • Trips towards Ajax Station will end a half hour later. 
 PULSE 916 
  • Weekdays
    • Service towards Harmony Terminal will end a half hour later.

    • New trips will operate between Whitby Station and Oshawa Centre Terminal during peak travel periods.

    • Scheduled departure times have been adjusted.

  • Routing Change
    • To improve reliability, the route will now temporarily use Stevenson Road and Conlin Road, between Taunton Road and Thornton Road and Conlin Road and Simcoe Street.
    • Upon completion of construction, the 920 will operate via Thickson Road and Conlin Road.
