Back to SearchWhitby, Ontario – With summer winding down and back-to-school season just around the corner, DRT is here to help by offering the discounted Y10 monthly youth pass to customers who are 13 to 19 years of age.
Customers who purchase a pass every month from September until June will save $20.14 on each consecutive Y10 monthly pass, for a total of $201.40 in savings.
When: Enrolment will open on August 1, 2025, with the September Y10 pass available for purchase starting August 21, 2025, for $87.28 per month. The September monthly pass becomes active on September 1, 2025. To maintain unlimited travel through June 30, 2026, customers must purchase a Y10 monthly pass each month. Customers must complete Y10 program enrolment and purchase their first pass by September 15, 2025.
Where: Passes are available for purchase at the following locations by presenting proof of age, which includes your birth date:
- DRT Customer Service, 110 Westney Road South, Ajax
- The Shops at Pickering City Centre (formerly Pickering Town Centre) – Guest Services, 1355 Kingston Road, Pickering
- Region of Durham Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby
- Oshawa Centre – Guest Services, 419 King Street West, Oshawa
- Township of Scugog – 181 Perry Street, Port Perry
All Y10 customers must complete the Y10 enrolment form to receive monthly Y10 savings.
Why: DRT’s Y10 pass helps make transit more affordable and accessible for youth. With the Y10 pass, customers aged 13 to 19 can enjoy unlimited travel from September 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, provided passes are purchased consecutively throughout the 10-month school year.
Note: The Y10 monthly pass is not available through the PRESTO e-ticket app.
