Highlights from the April 2024 Transit Executive Committee Meeting

Whitby, Ontario – On April 3, members of the Durham Region Transit Executive Committee (TEC) met to discuss various Durham Region Transit (DRT) initiatives and updates. Details and highlights include:

• April service updates: On April 8, DRT implemented service adjustments to improve the reliability and on-time performance of bus services. There were no changes to service capacity or frequencies.

Highway 7A Stop Closures

Due to road construction along Highway 7A, The following stops will be closed until further notice: 

• Stop #2508 – Highway 7A northbound at Scugog Line 6.
• Stop #2507 – Highway 7A southbound at Scugog Line 6.

 Please use stop #3300 at the Port Perry Walmart entrance.
