Thanksgiving Day service update

On Thanksgiving Day (October 14, 2024), Durham Region Transit will operate on a Weekend Schedule.

Customers are encouraged to plan ahead and use the Transit App or view the bus route schedules at DurhamRegionTransit.com to help plan your trip.

When: Effective October 7, 2024.

The following stop change will be made at the Altona Road southbound @ Sparrow Circle.

Stop #93322 – Altona Road southbound @ Sparrow Circle (south stop) will be moved to a temporary location at 160 metres south of the current stop location.

The following stop change was permanently made at the Carnwith Drive and Darius Harns Drive intersection:

Stop #94110 – Carnwith Eastbound @ Darius Harns
- Stop reopened at the concrete pad located at the intersection of Ashburn and Carnwith, 250 meters west of the previous stop.

When: Effective October 03

The following stop change was permanently made at the Simcoe Street and Taunton Road intersection:

Stop #691 – Simcoe northbound at Taunton (northside stop) is reopened at the concrete pad located north of the intersection at Simcoe and Taunton, 100 metres north of the previous stop.

Routes: 409 and 920

When: Friday, October 4, 07:00 to Friday, October 18, 18:00

Due to a road closure on Conlin Road between Garrard Road and Thornton Road, routes 409 and 920 will detour.

Route 409 will detour via Conlin Road, Thickson Road, Winchester Road and Simcoe Street.
When Route 409 is running during its regular hours, Route 920 will detour via Taunton Road, Thornton Road, and Conlin Road.
