Seniors

Durham Region Transit recognizes the necessity and importance of transit for seniors throughout the Region. We are committed to ensuring that seniors can travel easily throughout the community to attend appointments, go shopping or to visit friends.

Durham Region Transit offers fares at a discounted rate for seniors 65 years of age and older. There are several fare payment options to choose from including: single ride cash fares, 10 ride cards and monthly passes. Please refer to the table below for Senior's fare rates:

Senior's Fare Rates - Effective July 1, 2009
Senior Cash Fare (single ride)	$1.90
Senior Monthly Pass	$39.00
Senior 10 Ride Card	$17.85

Senior's fare rates apply to seniors 65 years of age and older
