September 4 Service Adjustments

Effective Monday, Sept. 4, DRT will be implementing service adjustments to a number of its routes: ​​​​

Introducing High Frequency Service

Introducing High Frequency Service: more service, more often, seven days a week.

30 minute service or better – 7 days a week on:

30 minute service or better all day until 19:00 – 7 days a week on:
 - 224 Harwood-Salem

302 Brock-Baldwin

Cross-Regional

PULSE 900 Highway 2​  ​​   30 minutes or better all day, seven days a week.​
915 Taunton    30 minutes or better all day until 19:00, seven days        a week.​​

916 Rossland

-       Detour ends on Rossland. Town of Whitby has deffered construction to spring 2018.

-   30 minutes or better all day until 19:00, seven days a week.​​​

West (Pickering, Ajax)

112 Brock

-      Timing adjustments during weekday evenings and weekends.

120 Whites

-       Changes to departure times Saturday evening.

-       Sunday service to operate every 30 minutes and changes to departure times.

217 Monarch

_       Weekday 18:20 departure from Pickering Beach will now depart at 18:38.

-       Saturday: updates to route timing.

224 Harwood-Salem
     30 minutes or better all day until 19:00, seven days       a week.​

219 Ravenscroft

-       Saturday and Sunday: changes to departure times and timing updates.

223 Bayly

-       Weekday 19:15 departure from Glenanna will now depart five minutes later at 19:20.

226 Westney South

-       Saturday: 20:40 and 21:40 departures from Ajax Station will now depart five minutes earlier at 20:35 and 21:35, respectively.

-        Sunday: All departures from Ajax Station will now depart five minutes earlier.

Central (Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington)

302 Baldwin-Brock    30 minutes or better all day until 19:00, seven days         a week.​

305 Thickson

-        New two-way routing on Thickson.

-        Schedules updated to reflect new routing.

401 Simcoe ​​   30 minutes or better all day, seven days a week.

403 Park

-       Revisions to route timing.

-       Weekday departures from 19:15 to 21:15 from Oshawa Station will now depart five minutes later from 19:20 until 21:20, respectively.

407 Ritson

-       Revisions to route timing on weekends.   

*New* 408 Garrard

-         Operates Monday to Saturday.

-         New two-way routing on Garrard.

409 Garrard-Stevenson

-        Revised routing at Garrard and Taunton.

-         Schedules updated to reflect routing revision.

416 Kedron

Weekday

o   Departures from UOIT/DC from 17:55 to 21:25 will now depart five minutes later from 18:00 until 21:30.

o   Departures from Harmony Terminal from 18:10 to 21:40 will now depart five minutes later from 18:15 until​ 21:45.

Weekend

o   Departures from UOIT/DC will now depart five minutes earlier.

o   Departures from Harmony Terminal revised.

417 Conlin

-       07:55 departure from UOIT/DC will now depart five minutes later at 08:00.

-       New weekday peak period service in North Oshawa.

910 Campus Connect​

-       Seasonal service decreases end, new peak period 15 minute frequency.

North (Scugog, Uxbridge, Brock)

601 Brock-Uxbridge

-       6:03 departure from Udora will now depart from Sunderland at 5:53.

-       19:05 departure from Uxbridge will now depart at 18:30 and is extended to Sunderland.

*New* 603 Pickering-Uxbridge

​​-  ​Operates Monday to Friday, four trips in each                 direction.

Introducing On Demand Service 

DRT’s new demand-response service for the Townships of Brock, Scugog, and Uxbridge.


- Residents outside the reach of conventional services in Scugog, and Uxbridge will be able to connect to the urban centres of Uxbridge and Port Perry.

- New links between Beaverton and Orillia, and Cannington and Lindsay.
